- What is your favorite location that you’ve written about?
New England. I love the place so much that I have created multiple stories around it. There is so much to see and do. Also, there is such a rich and diverse history and, with that, comes a vast array of cultures and families that are or could be connected.
2. What book is it in?
All three of my works, “August to Life,” “The Bleeding,” and “One Minute There,” which will be out March 20th 2015, have some aspect of New England within it. The latter two more than “August to Life” as the investigations in them take the authorities across various states and, in “One Minute There,” out of the country.
3. What kind of research did you do so you could describe the location accurately?
Usually, I look up specific places in New England online, in libraries, and, sometimes, visit as well to make sure I have the correct feel of the atmosphere. I’m writing fiction, but I want it to be as real as possible.
4. List one fun fact about one of your books
My next book, “One Minute There” will take the reader on a brutal manhunt between New England and Europe.
